Meg Allwein
I spent 20 years working in 35+ countries for an insurance industry association, building my skills and expertise in strategic planning, operational execution, public speaking, and leadership development. In 2020, I launched MWA Consulting because I wanted to be in control of my career in a way that felt more aligned with what matters most to me — connection. The common thread in the work I do now is engaging with people who, like me, care deeply about the work they do and the lives they lead.
Using my superpowers of active listening, making order out of chaos, and getting things done, I make a difference for “people-first” organizations. I approach challenges with curiosity and an unflagging dedication to quality. I believe honesty matters, details are important, and to be trusted is to be accountable.
I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology from Duke University and a master's degree in business from The Ohio State University. I am a music lover, a traveler, a hiker, a writer, and a mom. “Home” for me is both Ohio and North Carolina.
